With regard to the Premier’s press announcement on October 31 2005 ‘Former Argyle Diamond boss to head approvals push’, I ask -
(1) On what date did discussions relating to the possible appointment of Mr Brendan Hammond first occur and between whom?
(2) On what date was the Premier aware of these discussions?
(3) On what date was the position offered to Mr Brendon Hammond?
(4) Is the Premier aware that in the Notice of OmegaCorp’s AGM to be held on November 28 2005, Resolution 3 - Re-election of Director - Mr Brendan Hammond, ‘That Brendan Hammond offers himself for re-election, be re-elected as a director’?
(5) Is the Premier aware that in the Notice of OmegaCorp’s AGM to be held on November 28 2005, Resolution 5 proposes that the Hammond Family Trust will be in receipt of options and financial benefit?
(6) If yes to (4), what is the Premier’s understanding in relation to Mr Hammond’s intentions in relation to Resolution 3 of the OmegaCorp’s AGM?
(7) If yes to (5), what is the Premier’s understanding in relation to Mr Hammond’s intentions in relation to Resolution 5 of the OmegaCorp’s AGM?
(8) What is the extent of any benefit Mr Hammond may receive?
(9) If Mr Hammond or the Hammond Family Trust is to be in benefit of Resolution 5 of the OmegaCorp’s AGM, during his appointment as head of the Office of Development Approvals Coordination, will this be determined as a conflict of interest?

(1-11) I am advised that Mr Hammond resigned as a director of OmegaCorp on October 31, prior to his taking up the position of Development Approvals Coordinator. Neither Resolution 3 nor Resolution 5 will be put to OmegaCorp shareholders at the company's AGM.
