(ii) A State Government initiative to provide funding for award updating. (iii) A government strategy to support the farming industry in the area of safety and health. (iv) The provision of the funds is in response to the State Homelessness Taskforce Report as agreed by Cabinet. (v) The Residential Tenancies Act 1987 allows for the disbursement of surplus income to be expended for the provision of advice and education. (c) Purpose of the grant (i) To provide funding for research into issues affecting Utility Consumers and to represent the interests of Utility Consumers. (ii) Provision of funding to enable Unions WA to undertake award updating under the provision of the Industrial Relations Act. (iii) Provision of funding to the farming industry to enable the continued improvement and advances in the areas of safety and health in the workplace. (iv) Provision of additional funding to existing financial counselling services to increase the capacity for the provision of these services for people at risk of becoming homeless.
