(1)-(4) I thank the member for some sort of notice of the question. I was not aware of this matter until he sent the question in this afternoon. I have sought some advice in respect of the matter. I am advised that a young man working at Truscott Airbase suffered bleeding on the brain. There was no apparent reason for this as he had suffered no apparent injury. The Royal Flying Doctor Service flew him to Perth, where he is currently in hospital. I indicate to the member that the reason I am not involved in this incident is that the air base is not operated by the Department of Mines and Petroleum because it is not a mine site. It is managed by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and would be administered by it. I do not have any report in respect of this matter. In view of the fact that the member has raised this matter, I will seek further information to see whether something occurred that could be avoided in the future.
