the department?

I thank the member for some notice of the question. I provide
the following answer on behalf of the Minister for Child Protection.
(1) The
Department of Communities currently operates 23 residential group homes. In
addition to this, Communities funds 40 family group homes contracted through
community service organisations.
(2) There are 14 residential group homes.
(3) Twenty-three
residential group homes are operated by the Department of Communities across Western
Australia.
(4) As at 15 June 2021, there are 99 children living
in group homes operated by the Department of Communities.
(5) This
answer requires the Department of Communities to search individual case files.
