(1) Is the Minister and the Australian Education Union (WA Branch) bound by a Certified Agreement registered in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission in 2000 that expired on July 31 2003?
(2) Does Section 4 of that agreement state that ‘should no agreement be reached and registered by August 1 2003 then the assistance of a conciliator, agreed between the parties, shall be sought’?
(3) Has an agreement between the parties been reached and registered by August 1 2003?
(4) If not -
(a) has a conciliator been sought as agreed to in Section 4 of that agreement; and
(b) will the Minister explain to the House what steps he has taken to facilitate the appointment of such a conciliator?
(5) If so, who is that conciliator?
