I thank the honourable member for some notice of this
question.
(1) No.
However, please note that in response to an email dated 13 September 2009 from
the Department of State Development requesting general information about
Aboriginal heritage in the area, DIA provided some information on an
officer-to-officer basis.
(2)–(5) Not applicable.
(6) DIA is
aware that DSD has been coordinating Aboriginal heritage surveys of the Browse
LNG precinct under the guidance of the Kimberley Land Council and other
traditional owners to inform itself of the Aboriginal heritage sites at the
location.
