The
Department of Housing
advises:
(1)  Yes
(2)  111 were delayed due to unseasonal wet weather, a fire ban preventing the use of clearing equipment, a tender document error and an absence of submissions received for an original tender.
(3)  City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, City of Rockingham, Shire of Coolgardie, Shire of Dundas, Shire of Esperance, Shire of Laverton, Shire of Leonora, Shire of Merredin,  Shire of Northampton, Shire of Ravensthorpe, Shire of Trayning, Shire of Wiluna and Shire of Wyalkatchem.
81 have been complete with the remaining 30 requiring firebreaks in Norseman, Laverton, Leonora and Wiluna.
Arrangements are in place for contractors to attend to the 27 lots in Wiluna, Leonora and Laverton and a contract has been awarded for the 3 lots in Norseman.
69 lots located in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Kambalda, Coolgardie, Esperance Ravensthorpe, Condingup and Cascade are complete and 12 lots now have firebreaks in the Midwest and Wheatbelt.
