561. Hon COLIN TINCKNELL to the minister representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the construction of an
overpass bridge at the intersection of Joondalup Drive and Wanneroo Road. Justification for this overpass has been

said request from the City of Wanneroo?
(2) Has a business
case been put forward to the government or the City of Wanneroo; and, if so,

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. There are no numbers in the question that I have,
so the answer is in a block.
The state government's
decision to commit funding to the Wanneroo Road and Joondalup Drive interchange
project was the result of a commitment made prior to the last state election.
This project is a priority of both the state and commonwealth governments. The
federal government provided an 80 per cent funding contribution to this project
through the redirection of Perth Freight Link funding.
''Rapid Economic Analysis''
was commissioned in September 2017 and finalised in November 2017. This
document is available on the Main Roads website. I table the attached document
