I refer to the
Forest Management Plan 2004-2013
(the Plan) published by the Conservation Commission of Western Australia, and I ask -
(1) Where is there reference in the Plan to the use of native forest as a fuel for the generation of electricity?
(2) What volume, if any, of native forest log resource is identified in the Plan for use as a fuel for the generation of electricity?

(1)-(2) The Forest Management Plan (FMP) does not define the end use of forest products and therefore makes no statement about the use of native forest resources as fuel for energy generation.
The FMP does state that it seeks to improve utilisation of lower grade logs and includes a table (p34) that indicates the substantial volume of 'other bole logs' made available in the course of harvesting for sawlogs and first thinnings.
