In relation to the Shire of Kalamunda, City of Melville and the City of Bunbury, I ask:
(a) what was the procurement process for the acquisition of all CAMMS products used by these Councils; and
(b) what is the annual cost of the CAMMS products/services to each of these Councils?

(a) Local governments have autonomy to procure goods and services in
accordance with their purchasing policies and the requirements of the Local
Government Act 1995 and subsidiary regulations.
I am not aware of the specific processes used to ascertain CAMMS
products.
The Department of Local Government received complaints about the acquisition
of CAMMS products at the Shire of Kalamunda and this and other matters were
referred to the Corruption and Crime Commission; therefore, it would not be
appropriate to provide comments on the matter.
(b) As there is no requirement for local governments to provide the
Department of Local Government with information on costs of goods and services
procured, I am not able to provide details of the annual cost of CAMMS
products/services.
