92. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the
Minister for Disability Services:
I refer the minister to the estimated $5 million to be spent
on new information technology systems for use with the Western Australian
National Disability Insurance Scheme and My Way trial sites, which was
identified in the Government Mid-year
Financial Projections Statement .
(1) Was this
expenditure identified in the forward estimates of the 2013–14 budget?
(2) If no to
(1), what programs and services will contribute to this amount?
(3) Will this
amount affect any existing program or the current level of services provided?
(4) If yes to
(3), in what way?

I thank the
member for some notice of the question.
(1) No.
(2) An additional
provision has been made in the Government
Mid-year Financial Projections Statement for $5 million for the development
of an information technology system. Precise details of the funding required
for the two trial sites are still the subject of negotiations between the state
and commonwealth governments, and details will be released when agreements are
signed by both governments.
(3)–(4) Not
applicable.
