298. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the minister representing the
Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to the answer to my question
without notice 190, asked on 19 March 2024.
(1) Have the six children recorded
as unaccounted for–in contact been found?
(2) For how many days was the
whereabouts of each child unknown?
(3) Has the department reported any of the six
children to Western Australia Police Force as a missing person?
(4) How many children who are in the
care of the CEO have their whereabouts currently recorded as —
(a) unaccounted for–in
contact;
(b) unaccounted for–not in
contact; and
(c) missing?

Minister for Child Protection.
The Department of Communities
advises as at 16 April 2024 —
(1) Yes.
(2) One, five, eight, eight, 15 and
30 days.
(3) No.
(4) (a) There were four.
(b) There was one.
(c) There was nil.
