(1) The current hospital site in Port Hedland will be disposed of under the Department of Treasury and Finance "Asset Disposal Policy".
(2) As part of the steps for disposal, the Department of Planning and Infrastructure will initially offer the property to other Government agencies for re-use. A Clearing House within the Department of Planning and Infrastructure has been established to coordinate inter agency sales. Where an agency's surplus property is not required within Government, LandCorp will manage the sale process on behalf of the agency, including undertaking the preparation work needed prior to sale.
