(1) How many clients have contacted
the service since commencement?
(2) What
additional resources and funding were allocated to the MHAS over and above
those directed to the Council of Official Visitors?
(3) Is the
service adequately resourced to respond to the volume of client inquiries?

I am aware that the Mental Health Commission has been
attempting today to get in touch with the Mental Health Advocacy Service, but
has not been able to do so. Although I am unable to answer the question in the
time available, I will provide a response to the honourable member tomorrow, 24
February 2016.
