the 2019-20 state budget papers and the notes concerning the revenues from the
State Library and Cultural Centre car parks, and ask: (a) Who receives the rent
revenues from the car parks and how is it shared among the relevant parties; (b) How long have they
had the facility to collect proceeds from car parks; (c) What were the revenue
figures from the car parks for each of the years 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19; and (d) Has patronage of the
car parks been impacted by the closure of the WA Museum: (i) If yes, what was the
impact on revenue?

(a) The City of Perth the lease holder on behalf of the Minister for Culture and the Arts receives the total rent revenue with 25 percent of the turnover paid to the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries and accounted for in the DLGSC Global Maintenance Fund for upgrades and refurbishments to the Perth Cultural Centre carparks;
(b) The City of Perth have held the lease on behalf of the Minister for Culture and the Arts since 3 September 2016;
