PEEL
HEALTH CAMPUS — OPERATING LICENCE
324. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to the contract with the private operator of Peel
Health Campus and the Minister for Health's comments in May 2013
regarding market interest in the operating licence.
(1) Has the
Minister for Health made a decision about whether the government will seek
market interest in the Peel Hospital operating licence; and, if not, why not?
(2) Will the public sector be permitted to bid for that
licence?
(3) If no to
(2), will a public sector comparator be undertaken to see whether it represents
value for money for the WA taxpayer?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
