I refer to the prescribed burn locations identified in the Walpole Wilderness by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions’ (DBCA) Burn Options Program 2023-2024, and I ask: (a) is DBCA aware the pygmy tingle trapdoor spider may be present in some of the locations that may be prescribe burned in the next 12 months and if so, which locations; and (b) if yes to (a), what action will DBCA take to protect the spider from the effects of a prescribed burn?
