(1) Is there a requirement that complaints relating to workplace bullying are officially recorded?
(2) If not, why not?

Issues relating to workplace bullying within the Office for Women's Policy are dealt with under the Department for Community Development's Grievance Resolution Policy. (1-2) Currently this policy does not require that complaints are officially recorded. However the Department for Community Development is implementing a new Workplace Issue and Grievance Resolution Policy which will require all formal grievances (including harassment and bullying) to be recorded on a formal Grievance File. This file will be held in a secure location in Human Resources. (3)(a) 2003/04 - nil (b) 2004/05 to date - 1 Ministerial Office Please refer to question on notice 2415.
