UNDERWOOD AVENUE BUSHLAND

I answer on behalf of Hon Robyn McSweeney. I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)–(2) No. The land in question has now received approval from the Minister for Environment and the environmental and planning agencies for the development of the land. However, the approval requires that 47 per cent of the property be protected. The government considers that the outcome is balanced in terms of the environment, and the owners wish to develop. Therefore, the government does not intend to consider the purchase of this land.
