I refer to the Ministerial Statement of 20 October 2016, in relation Law Reform Commission of Western Australia (LRC) report entitled, Provisional Damages and Damages for Gratuitous Services, Final Report, Project 106 , and I ask: (a) how did the economic analysis proposed by the LRC commence; (b) who has been engaged to conduct the analysis; and (c) what date will it be completed, and will the Minister make it public?

(a) I wrote to the Hon. Dr Mike Nahan MLA, Treasurer, asking that he seek an economic analysis from the Insurance Commission of Western Australia.
(b) The Insurance Commission of Western Australia.
(c) There has been no set date for the economic analysis to be completed. It will form part of Cabinet’s deliberations in the normal budget process.
