I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. I respond on behalf of the Minister for Housing —
(1)–(4)
The Department of Housing advises that crisis accommodation falls within the
portfolio of the Minister for Child Protection. The department supports the
delivery of the crisis accommodation program by providing capital funding. The
Department for Child Protection and Family Support provides recurrent funding
for service providers. There are 27 properties in the south west under this
program—23 in Bunbury, three in Busselton and one in Manjimup.
