Note:
RPH data provided is for the Wellington Street campus only.
Doctors FTE shortages have been defined as "positions unfilled" for both sites, that being RPH and SCGH.
Nurses FTE shortages have been defined as "shifts unfilled" for both sites, that being RPH and SCGH. Nursing shortage is not expressed as 'Positions Unfilled' as the current HR establishment system does not provide reliable position vacancy details. Additionally daily Nursing vacancy is determined by identifying vacant shifts against normal nursing profile per ward over a 24-hour period.
Employed FTE is the monthly Average FTE for hours worked during the month divided by the Award Full Time Hours for the month.
Hours include ordinary time; overtime; all leave categories; public holidays, Time Off in Lieu, Workers Compensation.
Nursing employed FTE excludes Registered Dental Nurses, Dental Clinic Assistants and Agency Nurse.
Doctors employed FTE excludes Dental Officers, Agency Medical Sessional and Agency Salaried Officers and Visiting Medical Practitioners contracted to perform Fee For Service or other specifically contracted services (including Specialist services).
