I refer to the recently discovered box of documents kept by the late Anthony Lewandowski. (1) What action has the government taken to access and examine the contents? (2) Is the Premier aware that one of the documents is a draft affidavit written by or for Mr Kucera, attached to a hand-drawn sketch of the plan of the Belmont Criminal Investigation Bureau office and notes of events in the handwriting of Don Hancock? (3) Is the Premier concerned about the implications raised by this document, including the implication that Mr Kucera was instructed or coached about his affidavit? (4) What action has the Premier taken to ascertain from his cabinet minister his explanation of this document? Hon KIM CHANCE

I thank Hon Simon O’Brien for his question and the assumptions in his question. (1)-(4) I am unaware of the contents of the box of documents referred to by the member. Members have been consistently advised that if they have any evidence relevant to this matter, it should be provided to the appropriate authorities, and that consideration of those issues is a matter for those authorities.
