I refer the Premier to the movement of families to Manjimup in recent times and ask - (1) Will the Premier advise how many families have been relocated to or settled in Manjimup in the past 12 months? (2) How many families have been relocated to Manjimup under the Government’s “Bringing them home” campaign and “Stronger families” campaign? (3) How many of the people relocated to Manjimup have committed offences for - (a) violent crime; (b) burglary; (c) car theft; (d) sexual assault; and (e) domestic violence? (4) How many of the people relocated to Manjimup are - (a) on parole; (b) on drug rehabilitation programs; (c) suffering mental illness; or (d) suffering from diabetes? Hon KIM CHANCE

This is the most amazing question that has ever been asked in this place. How could anybody ever think that a “big brother” exists in the Western Australian Government that is capable of amalgamating the data required to answer that question? Who has come in under this particular program who suffers from diabetes? Big brother will tell us that this person applied for relocation; therefore, he was asked whether he had diabetes! This is a lunatic question! The following advice has been provided by the Premier - I request that the member refer this question to the appropriate ministers.
