I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. (1) Stakehill Road Sand Pit at Karnup Baldivis is part of the new Main Roads Perth-Bunbury highway project and is operated by Southern Gateway Alliance. The Mines Safety and Inspection Act is not applicable to this site, as stated in section 4(t) of the act. Therefore the operation was not inspected. (2)-(3) Refer to (1).
