I refer to the Mundijong Freight Realignment, and I ask: (a) Can you please provide the current preferred map and details in regards to the freight line along Tonkin Highway; (b) Have affected landowners been consulted: (i) if yes, how many have been consulted and when; and (ii) if no, how many need to be consulted and when will this occur; (c) I note that the planning study was due to be completed in late 2020, can you please provide an update regarding the progress of this study; (d) Can you please provide an update on the timeline of the overall project; (e) What is the anticipated cost of the realignment; and (f) Can you please explain the change in routes as shown in the Main Roads map, published in February 2020, compared with maps produced and published by Cardno for the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale in August 2017, March 2017, and an earlier version in May 2016?

(a) A map is publicly available on the Main Roads website.
(b) Yes
(i) Main Roads has distributed a letter to property owners. Potential affected properties have also been contacted by the Public Transport Authority. Further engagement will continue as the project progresses.
(ii) Not applicable
(c) The planning study is underway.
(d)-(e) Planning and development is currently underway. Further details will be determined as planning progresses.
(f) Previously published proposed alignments were superseded due to constructability and other constraints.
