TOWING REGULATIONS 1975 — AMENDMENTS
(1) Will the minister be amending the towing regulations 1975? (2) If yes to (2), what process does the minister envisage will be undertaken, and has this process commenced? (3) How is it planned to receive stakeholder input? (4) What are the significant changes that the government wants to enshrine in these amendments? I thank the honourable member for some notice of this question. I am not going to suggest that the member place the question on notice, although one of her colleagues might wish to follow this up. I am not satisfied with the answer that I have before me at this time. I think the problem is that the regulations that are referred to are not properly named, and that is what makes it impossible to answer the question given the notice given. So, I am basically saying sorry, but I cannot answer this question without some more notice. There will need to be a two-way communication to do that. I am sorry about that, and I hope I have expressed enough regret in conveying that news. Not a good one to finish on!
