(1) The Minister for Emergency Services is advised by the Fire and Emergency Services Authority of Western Australia that it is anticipated that the Perth Fire Station is to be opened in August 2009. (2) Following identification of building defects, the project manager, Building Management and Works, which comes under the Department of Treasury and Finance, has been in negotiations with the builders to have these issues rectified.
