Ombudsman Western Australia is an independent agency and does not report to the Premier. The following answer has been provided by the Ombudsman:
Ombudsman Western Australia's own motion investigation into issues associated with Violence Restraining Order and their relationship with family and domestic violence fatalities will be completed in mid-2015 and the report of the investigation will be tabled in Parliament, and made public, at that time.
