I refer to Julimar Road in the Wheatbelt region, and I ask: (a) noting that this road is not under the direct control of the State Government, what responsibility or role does Main Roads WA play in ensuring road safety on this road; (b) has a recent road safety audit been conducted on this road; and (c) if yes to (b), can the Minister please provide that report?

In addition, Main Roads administers several funding sources through Regional Road Groups, which local governments can access to undertake safety driven upgrades on roads under their control, including Julimar Road. Both the Shire of Toodyay and the Shire of Chittering have recently sourced funding for Julimar Road through the State Blackspot Program.
(b) Yes. This was conducted by the Shire of Chittering in 2016.
