The Department of Finance advises:
(a-h)
The Department of Finance awarded one head contract valued at $21,701,211.62 (GST exclusive) for the construction of the
Kununurra Courthouse
.
This contract was not awarded to a contractor based in the Kimberley region.
There are two regional price preferences.
The head contractor was not eligible to claim the regional business preference for this contract.
However, the regional content preference can be claimed by any business that intends to use local goods and/or services in the delivery of a State government contract.
The details of all subcontracting arrangements are held by the head contractor.
