Considerable notice has been given of this question. Will the minister please table the summaries of native forest hardwood log timber processing and any related attachments pertaining to the sales from Whiteland Milling’s timber mill in Busselton since 1 January 2001? Hon KIM CHANCE

I was wondering about the comment of “considerable notice”. The notice I have is Wednesday, 20 October. That is a day. However, I have those documents, and as a member of an open and accountable Government I will always make such documents available. Hon Peter Foss: Twenty from 22 is two. Hon KIM CHANCE: Yes, but it takes one day to get here. The PRESIDENT: Order! Let us not get picky. Hon KIM CHANCE: I am pleased to table the documents requested by the honourable member. Only the documents for the six-month period to 30 June 2004 are relevant to the current contract, which was let as a result of a request for proposals No 2649. Under the contract, milestone commitments are low in the first year in recognition of the time required to obtain and install necessary value-adding equipment and infrastructure. An analysis of the summaries has indicated that Whiteland Milling has exceeded its milestone commitments for the first six-month period of the contract for both fine furniture and outdoor furniture. I table those documents. [See paper No 2765.]
