With regard to the safety of rock fisherman at Salmon Holes, can the Minister please advise: (a) how many ring bolts have been installed at Salmon Holes; (b) why was this number chosen to be installed; (c) where about on the rocks have they been installed; (d) what was the process undertaken to determine those places to install them; (e) are there any plans to install any more ring bolts, and if so how many; (f) what is the length of time for the trial of the temporary mobile phone repeater mast; (g) how will the trial results be evaluated; (h) will there be any signage advising the public of how, in the event of an emergency, to phone Albany Sea Rescue Squad; and (i) how many Angel Rings will be installed, and where will they be installed?

(b) To provide adequate anchor points for the number of anglers who typically fish from this location.
(c) In the most appropriate location in order for the rock anchor point to hold.
(d) Consultation with local fishers and people who have been involved in projects of this nature and a desktop study of images showing where the majority of people fish.

(f) The mobile phone repeater mast is not part of this trial.
(g) Reporting mechanisms are in place to gather quantitative data on the frequency of use.
(h) Yes. Signage will advise the public that in the event of an emergency they should contact the police who will then advise the local sea rescue if appropriate.
