(1) Yes, the Retention and Participation Officer whose duties include attendance issues and who covers the Greater Southern Region including the town of Albany.
(2) In the last 12 months, the Retention and Participation Officer has had 204 contacts with children presenting with attendance concerns.
A number of these contacts were repeat contacts with the same children.
