(2) If not, why not, and when is it

the Marlamanu on-country diversion program to begin operating?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
The following answer has been
provided by the Minister for Regional Development.
(1)–(3) Site
works have commenced at Mt Anderson, including the cross-road grading site
preparation. The project proponent expects to sign a builders' contract
for the main construction work in the near future. Operations are anticipated
to commence at the end of the wet season in early 2025 in accordance with the
proponent's funding agreement.
