968. Hon ADELE FARINA to the Attorney General:
(1) In view of
the all evidence that Bunbury has a serious drug problem, will the government
establish a Drug Court in Bunbury?
(2) If no to (1), why not?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) There is no
plan for a Drug Court to be established in Bunbury. If the member has detailed
evidence that drugs are responsible for increased crime in Bunbury, I would be
grateful to receive it.
(2) There has not been any
assessment undertaken of the need for a Drug Court in Bunbury.
