(1) Having considered business cases demonstrating the workload and performance of the Supreme Court the Government has subsequently appointed two judicial officers to the Supreme Court.
(2) The two appointments to the Supreme Court were:
· The Hon. Justice Robert Mitchell was appointed on 2 October 2014 following the retirement of the Hon Justice Christopher Pullin on 30 April 2014 ; and
· The Hon. Justice Peter Martino was appointed on 20 April 2015 following the resignation of the Hon Justice James Edelman on 20 April 2015.
(3) The Business Case regarding operations of the Supreme Court is Cabinet in Confidence.
