Education:
I refer to the $5.4 million in the
annual report for Highgate Primary School.
(1) Can the minister please detail
what this was spent on?
(2) How many classrooms were built?
(3) Were facilities other than
classrooms built; and, if so, please specify what was built?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
New facilities at Highgate Primary
School are currently under construction and due for completion in late 2017.
(1) It was spent on the construction
of a new teaching block.
(2) There are four early childhood
learning areas and four general classrooms.
(3) Associated
areas in the facility include kitchens, staff and student toilets, activity spaces
and store rooms.
