SENIORS HOUSING STRATEGY
620. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Housing:
I refer the minister to his response
to question without notice 830 asked on Thursday, 9 November 2017, question
without notice 441 asked on Tuesday, 12 June 2018, and question without notice
1343 asked on Thursday, 6 December 2018, whereby he responded that he expected
to release ''the future directions for seniors housing paper'' in
the first quarter of 2019.
(1) Has the seniors housing strategy
now been completed?
(2) If no to (1), why not, and when
will the strategy be completed?
(3) Given the
minister's response to question without notice 1343 that the Department
of Communities has been undertaking extensive and ongoing consultation with
older Western Australians, industry, the community sector and government, will
he list the groups with which the Department of Communities has met with regard
to the strategy; and, if not, why not?
