POLICE — AUXILIARY OFFICERS
794. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
(1) Have Western Australia Police Force auxiliary
officers received a pay increase or a cost-of-living payment?
(2) If no to (1), why not, and when
will they receive those payments?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Police.
(1)–(2) As
the Minister for Police, I do not hold responsibility for negotiations relating
to wage agreements. That falls within the responsibility of the Minister for
Industrial Relations; however, the Western Australia Police Force has advised
me that negotiations are continuing in good faith between the parties.
