representing the Attorney General:
I
refer to page 27 of A review of the Department of Transport's
management of unlawful access to TRELIS , published by the Corruption
and Crime Commission in August 2021, which states —
The Commission proposes to report on
the implementation of these recommendations in 12 months' time.
(1) Has this
report been completed?
(2) If yes to
(1), what were the findings and will the Attorney General table the report?
(3) If no to (1),
has it commenced; and, if so, when is it expected to be completed?

I thank the member for some notice
of the question. The following answer has been provided to me by the Attorney General.
(1) No.
(2) Not
applicable.
(3) On 5 May
2022, the Corruption and Crime Commission advised the Department of Transport
of the upcoming review, and on 26 July 2022
the department provided the commission with a detailed submission . This
is currently under review. The commission anticipates the recommendation review
will be finalised mid to late 2023.
