I refer to the article published by the Australian Financial Review on 20 May 2025 that included the sentence, “Cook told the media a decision on the project [the North West Shelf] would be at the top of the agenda at his meeting with Watt”, and I ask: (a) was the North West Shelf matter mentioned during this 20 May 2025 meeting referred to in the media article; (b) did the Premier seek or receive any North West Shelf-related assurances from Minister Watt during the meeting referred to in the media article; (c) if yes to (b), what were the assurances; (d) regardless of whether or not this occurred during the 20 May 2025 meeting, has the Western Australian Government made any representations to the Federal Government on whether it would be appropriate or desirable to have a round of public consultation on any Federal Government proposed decision/proposed conditions relating to the extension of the North West Shelf (rather than limiting such consultation to the proponent); and (e) if yes to (d), what was the substance of any such representations?
