(1) How many times has the housing
supply unit met?
(2) How many employees are
currently working full time at the housing supply unit?

meetings has the HSU had with industry stakeholders as promised and can the
minister please table a list of those meetings?

answer is provided on behalf of the Treasurer.
(1)–(4) The new housing supply unit has been established
and is working to boost housing supply and affordability in Western Australia.
The director of the new team has been appointed and recruitment of remaining positions is close to completion. The housing
supply unit has commenced a dedicated program of engagement with
industry stakeholders, with a presentation to key industry stakeholders at the
Urban Development Institute of Australia WA
state conference scheduled for next week. The new housing supply unit is
working across government on a range of initiatives, including obtaining
the state's share of commonwealth funding, and housing initiatives that
are being considered as part of the 2024–25 budget process.
