1099. Hon PETER COLLIER to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Corrective Services:
(1) What is the total number of juveniles who have
been held at Banksia Hill Detention Centre in 2022 to date?
(2) How many of those referred to in

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer is based on information
provided to me by the Minister for Corrective Services.
(1) A total of 729 juveniles have
been held.
(2) The answer to this is in tabular
form.
I seek leave to have the response incorporated into Hansard .

There
is also a note that says that numbers in the table do not add up to an overall
total. This is because some individuals involved are included in more
than one self-harm or attempted suicide category.
