I refer to Table 5.1 of the 2009–2010 Government Mid-Year Financial Projections Statement, titled ‘Implementation of Corrective Measures’, and note that various agencies have savings of $16.1 million allocated in 2009–2010 for ‘Media and Marketing, Advertising and Consultants Savings’. I ask:
(a) will these savings be met for 2009–2010;
(b) if no to (a), what is the expected savings in this area for 2009–2010;
(c) if no to (a), what are the reasons for the savings not being met; and
(d) as set out in the 2009–2010 Government Mid-Year Financial Projections Statement, will savings be found in this area in the years 2010–2011, 2011–2012 and 2012–2013?

The 2009-10 Mid-year Financial Projections Statement provided details of the Government's corrective measures, including the implementation status of each.
An update on the achievement of corrective measures for the 2009-10 year will be announced in the coming budget.
