The Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises
(1)-(2) Yes. Employees permitted to use social media on departmental devices established twitter accounts principally to monitor media activity. The Department's Code of Conduct advises staff on both authorised and personal use of social media.
The Department has an internal record however due to privacy considerations it is not considered appropriate to release the names of the twitter accounts.
