(1) In the WA Police Force, what is the total number
of assistant commissioners, commanders and superintendents for 2017,
2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021?
(2) In WAPOL,
what is the total number of women who held/hold the position of assistant
commissioner, commander and superintendent for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of this question. The following information has been provided to me
by the minister for police. The Western Australia Police Force advises as
follows.
(1) In 2014 there
were 56; in 2015, 64; in 2016, 63; in 2017, 56; in 2018, 59; in 2019, 69; in
2020, 66; and in 2021 to 31 July, there are 62.
(2) In 2014 there
were five; in 2015, nine; in 2016 and 2017, 10; in 2018, eight; in 2019 and
2020, 11; and in 2021 to 31 July there are 10.
