1033. Hon ROBIN SCOTT to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to a media report quoting
the minister who said that construction of the MRI facility for Kalgoorlie was
due to commence in late August.
(1) Can the minister confirm that
construction has started on the MRI suite?
(2) If no to (1), why not?
(3) If yes to
(1), can the minister confirm that the people of the goldfields will not have
to wait longer than the three-month period, previously stated by the minister,
for their MRI machine?
