LOTS 597, 756 AND 782 JARVIS ROAD, BALDIVIS
I refer to lots 597, 756 and 782 Jarvis Road, Baldivis. On 1 May 2007 the minister informed the Parliament in reply to question without notice 206 that the survey work on these properties had been completed and that a map was to be provided when the surveyors had completed their work and the work had been verified by the Department for Planning and Infrastructure. (1) Will the minister table a preliminary survey used to establish the boundary for the parks and recreation reserve for Stakehill Swamp? (2) Will the minister table any written documentation in relation to the exchange of land prior to it being rezoned? (3) Will the minister table the documentation in relation to the valuation for the Jarvis Road property? (4) If the minister will not table this information, why not? Hon ADELE FARINA

I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1) The preliminary survey - deposited plan 54931 - was prepared for lots 597 and 782 only as part of the consideration of environmental appeals by the Minister for the Environment in relation to metropolitan region scheme amendment 1050/33. The final boundary for the parks and recreation reserve for Stakehill Swamp will be detailed when amendment 1050/33 is tabled in Parliament in due course. (2) The proposed exchange is detailed in correspondence with Mr and Mrs Higginson, and I would not propose to table that correspondence without their agreement. (3)-(4) While negotiations by the Western Australian Planning Commission are in progress, I am not prepared to table the valuations.
