I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2 at page 537 "Spending Changes", line item "Drug and Alcohol Office Efficiency Dividend Transfer", and ask: (a) will the Minister explain the purpose of this line allocation; (b) why has the allocation in 2013-14 almost doubled on the amount allocated in 2012-13; and (c) if this information is not currently available, when will it be available?

(a) To identify the required reduction in budgeted expenditure by the Drug and Alcohol Office resulting from the application of the State Government efficiency dividend from 2012-13.
(b) The methodology used to calculate the efficiency dividend was based on total budgeted expenditure of the Drug and Alcohol Office excluding eligible Not-for-Profit (NFP) budgeted expenditure at the rate of 2% in 2012-13, increasing by 1% per annum to 5% in 2015-16.
